Movilitas Earns Gateway Certified® Accreditation for EPCIS

Gateway Checker presenting Movilitas.Cloud the Gateway Checker Gateway Certified Award for EPCIS

Gateway Checker® is excited to announce Movilitas.Cloud has earned the Gateway Certified® accreditation for their EPCIS solution, becoming the first solution provider to earn this recognition for both EPCIS and VRS.

DSCSA mandates the timely, interoperable exchange of Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS) files downstream: nonetheless, numerous solution providers and the stakeholders they support fail to produce and exchange conformant data. By validating their systems and processes under an objective, independent conformance testing application, Movilitas.Cloud reinforces its position as a trusted industry partner that prioritizes supply integrity and patient safety.

Movilitas.Cloud earned VRS Verify™ accreditation in March of 2025 after their VRS assessment met the stringent requirements of Gateway Checker’s independent, unbiased VRS Conformance Testing Platform. This EPCIS Verify ™ recognition was earned earlier this year after producing test files in alignment with all GS1 DSCSA manufacturer and distributor test scenarios.

“Achieving the Gateway Certified Certificate of Conformance is an important validation of our commitment to interoperability, security and compliance,” said Marc Blekkink, Managing Director of Movilitas.Cloud at IndX. “With the industry shifting from meeting compliance requirements to regulatory enforcement, our focus is on helping customers simplify complexity while ensuring they can securely connect and collaborate across the entire supply chain. This certification proves that our platform not only meets requirements, but delivers the accuracy and reliability needed for true interoperability.”

Nonconformant, error-ridden EPCIS files continue to plague the pharmaceutical supply chain, leading to interruptions in product shipments while preventing patients from receiving drugs in a timely manner. Movilitas.Cloud’s efforts towards producing accurate, compliant EPCIS files helps alleviate this concern for its customers across the country, setting a great example for other solution providers to pursue similar efforts.

“Gateway Certification is not just about meeting technical requirements – it’s about ensuring that trading partners can trust the data and systems they rely on every day,” said Gary Lerner, President at Gateway Checker®. “Movilitas.Cloud has demonstrated strong alignment with GS1 standards and a clear commitment to enabling secure, interoperable DSCSA processes.”

Compliance is no longer just a requirement—it’s an expectation. By becoming Gateway Certified, organizations instill a sense of confidence in their trade partners that compliance remains a key operational priority.
